An update on the progress of my new upcoming novel. This one, soon to be released, is a supernatural drama with lots of suspense and even a few frights. 

Have you ever met someone who was gifted? I mean truly gifted with a supernatural ability. Perhaps they could see into the future, or they always seemed to know things, secret things that no one on the planet could possibly  know. Perhaps you have met someone who has amber eyes? If you can say yes to any of these questions, then the idea of supernatural gifts will come as no surprise to you. You might also know that these individuals are haunted by opposing forces straight from the depths of hell itself because a gifted person is sent to us when we are in the direst of needs. For the characters in this new novel, the need is great and urgency presses upon them. Look for this new novel on the shelves by Christmas. That means I have to knuckle down and decide on a title.

This couple got married on July 6th of 1979 and headed to Carlsbad Caverns for their honeymoon. Little did they know that terrorists were about to take the caverns on July 10th.

This is a fictionalized story about the actual horrific 1979 event and the days leading to it.

Songbird - is it some kind of code or an Earth Spirit?

In my novella "Pawns in the Power of Kings" the spies use a code word - "Songbird." Years before I drew this as part of my Earth Spirits series. It is titled "Songbird" and is done in what I call polychrome pencils. To everyone else that translates into 'soft colored pencils.' I uses a variety of brands some of which are no longer available on the market. Thank goodness I like to buy pencils when I see them on sale, but I confess, the different kinds have dwindled in number over the years.  Now I use more Prismacolor Pencils than anything.
